Product

A patient tutor, one small step at a time

Tutorly is one screen: a calm conversation where you share your thinking and it guides you with questions and steps, with math rendered cleanly, until it clicks.

What it does

Eight things, none of them decoration

Guides, never just answers

Tutorly makes one move at a time: a question, a small step, or a check. It confirms the final answer only once you have reasoned to it, which is the part that teaches.

Reads your actual attempt

Paste your working, even a rough one. Tutorly finds the specific idea you have missed and aims its first question straight at it, rather than starting from scratch.

Checks understanding

Before moving on, it asks you to explain why or to try the next case. A right answer only counts once it has actually clicked.

Renders math cleanly

Equations show as equations. A fraction looks like a fraction, an integral like an integral, so the working is easy to read on a phone or a laptop.

Tracks progress over topics

On Student and Family, see where you are steady and where to go back, topic by topic, so studying has a direction instead of being a pile of worksheets.

Holds the integrity line

It helps you learn, it does not do the assignment. Ask straight out for the answer and it points you to the next small step instead.

Works for a household

On Family, up to four student profiles on one bill, with a parent view that shows topics and time and never the content of a session.

Keeps your work yours

Your work is sent to a model provider to produce your session and for nothing else, under agreements that prohibit training on it. Export or delete anytime.

Watch it guide, not tell

A ninth grader asks why a quadratic has two answers. A solver would print two numbers. Tutorly asks the question that makes the reason obvious, then checks it landed. Step through it, or jump to a move.

Jordan, 9th grade

I do not get why has two answers.

Guiding question

Great thing to wonder about, that is the real idea here. Before the two answers, let's factor the left side. Can you find two numbers that multiply to and add to ?

Step 1 of 7

What it covers

The subjects homework actually comes from

Math, science and writing, from the early years through college level. What it does not do is finish the assignment for you.

  • Pre-algebra and algebra
  • Geometry and trigonometry
  • Calculus and statistics
  • Physics, forces and energy
  • Chemistry and stoichiometry
  • Biology, cells and genetics
  • Essay structure and argument
  • Grammar, clarity and revision

Try it on the thing you are stuck on

A few guided sessions a week are free and there is no card. If it does not help you understand it, you have lost a few minutes.
